Nordson names India sales manager

UTPAL Pathak joins Nordson Corporation as India sales manager for the Nordson Extrusion Dies Industries.

Backed by 25 years of industry experience mostly focused on sales of extrusion machinery or production of extruded products such as flexible packaging, Mr. Pathak will oversee sales and support services for Nordson flat die systems for extrusion of film, sheet, and coatings. He will also handle sales for systems for fluid coating.

Bharat Muchhala of Shruti International will continue to represent the product range in India. 

Mr. Pathak, who joined the plastics industry in 1989, served as sales executive for extrusion systems at Kolsite in Ahmedabad. He also worked with Mamata Brampton, Parikh Packaging, and Jayshri Propack, handling sales responsibilities. He held the position of general manager at Unimark International, handling sales of Bandera extrusion equipment and various systems for web converting.

According to Mrunal Sangvi, senior sales manager for Nordson’s Polymer Processing Systems family of products, Pathak will work with customers in selecting the optimal die system and support them before and after the sale.
