Novasep launches new Thailand office

IN line with its expansion efforts in Southeast Asia, Novasep is opening a new office in Bangkok, Thailand.

This development comes in the heels of the launch of the company’s Bangalore subsidiary to mark its expansion into India. In 2012, Novasep set up its Asia Process Development and Engineering Center in Shanghai, China.

Novasep, a leading supplier of manufacturing solutions to the life sciences industry, is boosting its Southeast Asian presence to match rising demand for high-efficiency processes in the food and feed industries. The firm is particularly boosting efforts in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines, which according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) are among the fastest-growing economies in the ASEAN-10.

Asia Pacific manager Damien Brichant said the company now offers increased proximity on top of premium quality service to customers in the region. “We have equipped this new office with local capabilities, together with local sourcing and project management, for on-site process development,” Mr. Brichant added.

According to Industrial Biotech BU president Nadège Laborde, a presence in Thailand supports the firm’s strategy to serve its clients better. Ms. Laborde added, “The sound technical expertise and comprehensive market knowledge of our Thai team perfectly complement our first-class competitive offering from single purification units to complete ingredient production plants.
