Novelia multidose eyedropper available in four continents

NEMERA’s new Novelia® multidose ophthalmic packaging now serves patients in more than 15 countries worldwide, including the US and other countries in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. 

 

A major innovation in ophthalmic drug delivery from Nemera, the patient-friendly package prevents the contamination of unpreserved formulations and eliminates the need for preservatives that can be harmful to the eye and prompt patients to stop or skip treatment to avoid irritation and discomfort. It features microbiological sterility. The Novelia has been tested and confirmed for content sterility and drop non-contamination for treatment duration of up to 90 days).  

 

This preservative-free alternative for chronic treatments can be used as a ‘classic’ multidose eyedropper. Besides the capacity to calibrate droplets and improve compliance, the Novelia uses an easy-to-squeeze and carry bottle and has a blue tip that enables better precision in targeting the eye. The product is also more sustainable and affordable than unit doses.

 

The Novelia can be used for packaging drug products and medical devices. Its patented PureFlowTM  technology ensures 100% control and safe use. It is suitable for suspensions and solutions with high viscosity and is compatible with most existing filling lines. The preassembled cap and nozzle makes for a simplified manufacturing process.
