Nu-Vu Conair builds bigger plant to meet higher demand

With its plastics auxiliary equipment sales doubling every year, the Conair joint - venture company in India, Nu-Vu Conair Pvt.Ltd., has started construction on a new, stand - alone manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, India. The plant is expected to be fully operational by the end of March, 2011. "Our business in India has been very successful since we formed the joint venture less than three years ago," says Mr. Larry Doyle, Conair Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. Located on a 1.5-acre (6100-m2) site in a new industrial park not far from the firm's current facility in Ahmedabad, the new plant will be twice as big.
