NYC Color promotes the peacock eye

NYC Color lately launched HD Trio Eye Shadow to "mimic a peacock feather" on your eyelid by using its pale green, dark green and purple eye shadow trios. 

The 'peacock eye' is a look that features graduated color, and it appeared all over runways during spring/summer Fashion Week. According to NYC Color, the look on runways ranged from a subtle sweep of gold and bronze to a bold, multicolored version.

NYC Color created a step-by-step tutorial, giving consumers a way to get the look at home using the brand's products and following the directions on its website. The brand is also encouraging consumers to "pin" shots of a peacock eye on Pinterest.

But will consumers agree that it's a trend they want to replicate for summer? We'll see.
