Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum has new site in Brazil

For years, Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum has done business in Brazil via agents and distributors. The company has now opened a dedicated sales and service site in Jundiai, Sao Paulo, to ensure a stronger presence in South America.

“We continue to invest proactively in our regional markets,” said Dr. Martin Füllenbach, CEO of Leybold. “We believe in the growing demands of the emerging markets and the development of Brazil necessitates a closer and optimised customer-centered approach.

The new Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum Brazil team will support customers on sales, applications and service, with the full product range for vacuum pumps, spare parts, couplings, valves, gauges and instruments.

“Brazilian market is very focused on industrial processes, and we know that Leybold has the right product and expertise for our customer needs. Staying close to customers, understanding their needs, strong service performance and local stock are the keys for the business growth in South America,” said Ricardo Toshiro, Leybold Vacuum Brazil.

Faster response time
The new location will operate as a local sales and service centre that will provide better local assistance, response times and range of services. The fully equipped office will have an optimised stock which will diminish lead times considerably and will also allow for special contractual after sale services, according to customer necessities.

Vacuum solutions
The new workshop will also provide for enough space to assemble single vacuum components to complex vacuum solutions. Thus the full expertise of Leybold’s vacuum know-how in building standardised or fully customised vacuum solutions will be made available locally.
