Olam completes sale of almond orchards

Olam International Limited, a leading global integrated supply chain manager and processor of agricultural products and food ingredients, has completed that sale and leaseback of its almond orchards on 11 February 2014.  Spanning 12,000 hectares, the orchards are located in Murray River at Mildura and Robinvale, Australia. The company received cash proceeds amounting to A$200 million from Adveq Almond Trust II.

Olam sells its products to over 13,600 customers in 65 countries.
