Oman Flour Mills eyes a 2,000 tonnes/ day growth

OMAN Flour Mills (OFM) plans to set up a new production facility for its poultry and industrial bakery subsidiaries in an effort to augment capacity. OFM, which currently operates an 800-tonnes-per-day flour mill, will set up the new facility in Sohar. It will have a capacity for 500 tonnes per day, with capability to expand to 2,000 tonnes per day. With the new addition, the company hopes to improve market share in Oman as well as boost its exports to the Middle East.
