OMAX appoints new sales manager for Asia

WEI will support the company’s distribution partners and serve customers throughout China and Taiwan who rely on OMAX equipment for the fast, precise cutting of various materials, including exotic alloys, glass, rubber, stone and wood.

Wei brings to OMAX more than 20 years of experience in international sales and marketing as well as product marketing and business development for the electronic manufacturing and plumbing hardware industries. Most recently, he worked for Delta Faucet Company/Masco Corporation as the sales and marketing director over China. Additionally, his extensive experience working with manufacturers in the United States and Asia gives him the wherewithal to understand the unique regulations and requirements of these different markets.

Wei holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Northern Jiaotong University. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Illinois State University.
