One-stop-shop halal zones to rise in Dubai

THE Economic Zones World, together with the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre, will set up two halal zones in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) to serve local and international consumers. The project is part of the EZW’s initiative to develop Dubai into a global hub for halal products, and eventually position the city as global Islamic economy capital. For this development, the EZW is seeking collaboration with associations, accreditation bodies, and advisory firms to support the halal value chain.
