OPEN MIND's hyperMILL CAM solution certified by Autodesk

hyperMILL^?, the CAM solution from OPEN MIND Technologies AG, is fully compatible with Autodesk Inventor, as officially confirmed once more following certification by Autodesk Inc. for hyperMILL^? and the latest release of Autodesk Inventor 2014. The seamless integration of hyperMILL^?, including data associativity, allows continuous workflows all the way from design to CNC manufacturing.

As with all previous releases, the hyperMILL^? CAM software, with its wide range of machining strategies and optimisation features, was subject to thorough testing by Autodesk. This provides users with the peace of mind in knowing that the integration of the programs guarantees full interoperability. Furthermore, the OPEN MIND CAM solution can be accessed directly from within the Autodesk Inventor 2014 user interface and both systems share the same database. This means that CAM operations are automatically updated in hyperMILL^? when changes are made to the CAD model. By having the two programs integrated, users are able to immediately find the best possible machining strategy for their product in an end-to-end workflow.
