Packaging manufacturer to build subsidiary in Khalifa Industrial Zone

AL KHAT Packaging Co. will build its subsidiary, Gulf Printing and Packaging Company in the Khalifa Industrial Zone (Kizad), according to the Abu Dhabi Ports, the master developer, operator and manager of Kizad. The company is the only approved packaging provider for many brands including McDonalds, in the Middle East.

The new site is Al Khat’s first subsidiary outside of Kuwait, and will be producing high quality folding paper packaging and printing products, especially for the UAE, Saudi Arabian and South African markets.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports, said that the facility is designed to support not only current clientele but the growing number of food businesses within the zone.
