Packaging solution for water and sensitive products

THE Sidel Matrix^TM System is a modular generation of PET bottling equipment that can offer very fast changeover times, greater oven efficiency and improved uptime. Designed and developed by PET solutions provider Sidel, the system will be on exhibit at Gulfood Manufacturing from 27-29 October.

Apart from the Matrix, the company will be present solutions for water and sensitive products and innovations in PET packaging solutions.

The StarLite^TM is a new base design that gives standard PET bottles added stability and durability.

The RightWeight^TM, is proprietary bottle design process that not only reduces weight of a bottle but ensures it is strong enough to withstand the rigors of supply chains, and also look attractive at point of sale.

The Middle East continues to be a strong market for beverages, with sales of soft drinks in particular seeing positive growth. Euromonitor expects growth to be at around 5.3% CAGR for 2014 to 2019.
