PALMA Hospitality Group has announced plans to open 18 restaurants in Doha, Qatar in the next five years. The company, which recently unveiled projects including merging family entertainment with restaurant concepts, said it has acquired franchises from the United States and Europe and will launch these in the Mall of Qatar.
“We have started to open the first of many locations, and we are projecting a further 18 opening within the next five years. It is our vision to bring something new to Doha, and as per our analysis these franchises will flourish with trade,” said Group CEO, Moataz Al Khayyat. “In order to keep momentum we concurrently signed contracts with the franchises, looked for ideal locations, and established a highly trained team to manage each brand.”
Recently, the Palma Hospitality Group agreed to a lease deal with the United Development Company (UDC) a Qatari shareholding company and master developer of the Pearl-Qatar, a tourist landmark.
According to the company, its projects are in line with the development goals of the Qatar National Vision of 2030, as well as in preparation for the 2022 World Cup.
