PEB to supply GE Energy with steel building

PEB Steel Buildings (PEB) and General Electric Energy (GE Energy) has signed a contract under which PEB Steel Buildings will design, fabricate and install all steel buildings and structures for GE's Turbine Component plant in the northern seaport city of Hai Phong, Vietnam. The US$61 million project, expected to be operational by Q1 of 2010, will produce up to 10,000 tonnes of components annually for GE's wind-turbine assembly plants around the globe. Once completed, the 2,300 metric tonne plant will be the Vietnam's first Wind Energy Component plant and also the highest plant built in Nomura Hai Phong Industrial Zone (NHIZ) at 15.95M with a total area of 25,000 square metres. This unique factory will utilise high strength Nippon Steel plates, double side welding, 2.5SA shot blasting and epoxy coatings for the mainframe and steel structures. The building cladding will include PEB Steel Buildings 0.68mm painted AluPEB Lokseam roof system with insulation and interior liner panels, as well as high- quality insulated windows (double layered glass with inert gas) and motorised roll up doors.Air Jordan V High Supreme
