Pecan Deluxe cookie pieces for ice cream

Leading inclusions specialist Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Ltd adds another class-leading range of ice cream inclusion – baked cookie pieces in a choice of flavours including ginger and double-chocolate.

The new product complements the company’s expanding range of cookie dough pieces which already feature in household name premium ice creams. Available in 6mm, 9mm and 12mm size variants, the cookie pieces are made entirely of natural ingredients. Produced in segregated facilities, the pieces are nut-free and can be supplied soft-baked and frozen or fully-baked for storage at ambient temperature.

Trials have proven the success of the cookie pieces, particularly for inclusions and toppings in desserts for QSRs (quick service restaurants) and gastro-pub chains. They can also add value to an array of other frozen desserts such as sundaes and gateaux and are ideal for manufacturers of quality ice creams and other chilled or frozen desserts.

By far the biggest European supplier of cookie dough pieces, Pecan Deluxe made a significant investment in a new European plant last year which ensures that high-volume orders are always fulfilled. Available in 14mm and 19mm cylinders and 8mm cubes, the cookie dough pieces are a hit in natural, choc chip and double choc chip variants with several new fruit flavours currently undergoing trials – including raspberry/white chocolate, and cinnamon/apple – alongside mint.
