In efforts to meet demand from health-conscious consumers, PepsiCo will be releasing organic Gatorade and introducing changes to existing products.
The company has announced it will offer organic Gatorade next year, as consumers seek non-GMO and organic products.

The beverage giant is playing with ingredients that appeal to consumers that look for healthier products. Sports drinks are among the growing trends in the beverage industry today especially in the United States. Besides the new Gatorade, the company is introducing Mountain Dew Kickstart, which contains fruit juice and coconut water.
An article in Business Insider notes that PepsiCo is clearly seeking markets outside the soda industry as sales have slipped for sugary drinks.
