President of Pepsi - Middle East & Africa, Sanjeev Chadha, moves up to new role as CEO for Asia, the Middle East and Africa

PEPSICO, Inc. has appointed Sanjeev Chadha to the position of chief executive officer for Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA). Mr Chadha has been with the company for 23 years, and most recently served as president of PepsiCo, Middle East and Africa. He holds a Masters (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad and an undergraduate degree from Hindu College, Delhi University.

"Sanjeev is one of the most respected senior leaders in the PepsiCo family and he has a strong track record of success," said Pepsi chairman and CEO Indra K. Nooyi. "His leadership, experience and deep knowledge of the business, the region and its people will help to continue to drive success in AMEA."

Mr Chadha, who assumed the role in late September, will be stationed in Dubai, and report directly to Ms Nooyi.
