BASF will be focused on helping the typical person in Asia who lives a hectic city life to relax and restore their energy and overall wellbeing at in-cosmetics Asia 2014. Under the concept of “Catering to Asia City Life”, the showcase will include the new natural-based volatile emollient Cetiol Ultimate, anti-ageing active Perlaura, anti-pigmentation active Radianskin, face and body contour active Slim-Excess, and latest innovative UV filters Tinosorb A2B and Uvinul Easy, specialty liquid thickener Luvigel FIT Up, the flexible styling polymer Ultrahold Power, highly brilliant blue hair color, Vibracolor Moonlight Blue and many more.
“We see growing demand Asia for personal care products that bring better usage convenience and higher performance with better customized solutions to consumers,” said Ann Marie Vieira, senior manager, Industry Marketing, Care Chemicals Asia Pacific.
BASF Care Chemicals expects to proactively create solutions for manufacturers to cater to new consumer needs, instead of marketing new product attributes. “We formulate our products to help manufacturers come up with novel product ideas suitable for city living,” said Ms Vieira.
At in-cosmetics Asia, BASF will showcase several formulations ranging from anti-pollution scalp care to light sensory sunscreen, invisible leggings, and decorative cosmetics at booth K10, Hall 101-103 of BITEC, Bangkok, from November 4 to 6, 2014.
