Perspectives of TIMTOS 2013

The 24th Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) is held in 2013, from March 5th to 10th. The exhibition fields include Hall 1, 2, and 3 of Taipei World Trade Center and Nangang Exhibition Hall, which reach 90,000 sq meters. This international standard attracts more than 960 companies (up to now) to register for this show and the booth number reaches 5,300. In TIMTOS 2011, exhibitors were 928 and booths are 512, so this time the number grows in a significant scale.

Those exhibitors come from a variety of nationalities. There are companies from Italy, Swiss, Germany, Spain, Finland, Turkey, the USA, Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, and Taiwan. These seventeen countries are the main players in the field of machine tools; hence this variety does enrich the show. According to the latest statistics, it is expected that there will be 40,000 domestic and 5,500 foreign visitors. The authority of Taiwan spends a lot of energy and resources on this exhibition and invites many important industry leaders in hope of stimulating a better national economy.
