In order to improve business performance, Procter & Gamble has re-grouped its Global Business Units into four industry-based sectors, and has named new group presidents for each.
"This sector organization and leadership team will help us operate more effectively and efficiently to continue momentum behind P&G’s growth strategies," said A.G. Lafley, P&G chairman of the board, president/CEO.
The new sector groups are:
Global Baby, Feminine and Family Care Sector including the following global categories: Baby Care, Family Care, and Feminine Care.Global Beauty Sector including the following global categories: Beauty Care, Retail Hair Care and Color, Salon Professional, and Prestige.
Global Health and Grooming Sector including the following global categories: Shave Care, Braun, Oral Care, Health Care and Pet Care.
Global Fabric and Home Care Sector includeing the following global categories: Fabric Care, Home Care, and Power.
