PGI renames itself AVINTIV Inc.

PGI has become the world's largest nonwovens company in the last few years, reinventing itself as a major force in many of the market sectors that have contributed to current industry growth. Now it believes it needs a name and a brand identity that reflects a leader in a growing, fast-evolving industry. As an early step in this effort, the company announced today that it is renaming self as AVINTIV Inc.

The company also rolled out a new logo and said it will introduce other elements of its new brand identity to its customers and the market "in the coming weeks and months".
