Philbeauty 2014 opens in Manila on June 18

                                            

MANILA – Philbeauty 2014, the Philippines first-ever cosmetics and personal care trade event, has attracted strong interest from the beauty industry in the country as well as those in the rest of Asia. Over 100 exhibiting companies from 22 countries and regions will be bringing together an exciting range of beauty products and services to the SMX Convention Centre in Manila, from June 18 to 20.

Exhibitors are eager to enter the Philippines, which is one of the fastest developing economies in the region with a population of young consumers with greater disposable income.

The event is free to attend for beauty professionals who register online. Pre-registered visitors enjoy free admission to the three-day show as well as to the Philbeauty International Beauty Conference, which will allow them to enhance their industry knowledge and better anticipate market trends. Participants will be able to listen to experts about topics ranging from the future of the ASEAN beauty industry to the latest innovations in the market as well as the process for registering products.

In addition, live hair and make-up demonstrations will also be taking place on stage led by renowned celebrity stylist Mader Ricky Reyes.

Philbeauty 2014 is the first B2B show in the Philippines for the beauty industry. It is organized by UBM ASEAN, which is part of the UBM Asia.
