Philippe Hanck to lead DuPont Performance Polymers in Asia Pacific

Philippe Hanck has been named business director of DuPont Performance Polymers in Asia Pacific. In his new role, he willlead the company’s efforts to strengthen its position as the leading supplier of performance polymers in automotive, consumer electronics and other diversified industries. His responsibility includes leading teams in China, Japan, Korea, India, and the countries in South East Asia and Australia.

"Philippe brings experience gained by previously leading DuPont’s polymers business and other DuPont businesses in the region," stated Patrick E. Lindner, president, DuPont Performance Polymers.   

Mr. Hanck joined DuPont in 1987 in sales and marketing in France. In 1995, he joined DuPont Engineering Polymers in Asia Pacific, holding various sales and business management positions. In 2011, Mr. Hanck was named Asia Pacific managing director for DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers business and led the team that obtained specialty growth and operating improvements.
