The ABCO Group
ABCO was first established in 1972 as a trading company, then later it turned into manufacture of plastic packaging for motor oils and liquid detergents. In 1985, a further company and production unit was set up to produce liquid filled products primarily bleach and household detergents for the growing retail markets. The two companies merged in 1991 and occupied a new location in an industrial development zone.
A period of steady growth followed and in 2001, the group's closures, PET performs and detergent business was moved into two separate factories. ACIP (closures & PET performs) and ADCO (household detergent, car card products and third party filling).

Egyptian Company for Plastic Industry (Egyplast-Elsewedy)
Egyplast was established n 1996 as subsidiary company of Elsewedy cables and is now one of the largest companies in the Middle East producing PVC compounds and masterbatch. Annual target capacity is 120,000 tonnes for PVC compounds and 14,000 tonnes of masterbatches and special compounds. Driven by the strategic objectives of the company, a new factory (Elsewedy for Plastic- SEDPLAST) was established in Syria and started operation in 2008.

EQUATE Petrochemical Company
Established in 1995, EQUATE Petrochemical Company is the single operator of a fully integrated world-scale Kuwait-based manufacturing facility producing over 5 million tonnes of high quality petro chemical products annually. It is the owner and single operator of Greater EQUATE plants producing over 5 million tonnes annually (MTA) of ethylene: 1.8 million MTA; polyethylene (PE): 825,000 MTA; ethylene glycol (EG): 1.2 million MTA; paraxylene (PX): 829,000 MTA; styrene monomer (SM): 450,000 MTA; polypropylene (PP): 140,000 MTA; and benzene( BZ): 393,000 MTA.
