Plastics Recycling among hot topics at Pack Expo Las Vegas

In celebration of PACK EXPO’s 20th anniversary, SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association has obtained space in the South Hall for a recycling- and membership-focused exhibit at the upcoming show scheduled from 28-30 September at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas.

To complement its informative booth (South Hall-7888), SPI will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 to release a preview of its exclusive report, “Plastics Market Watch: Plastics in Packaging.” The report is the third in a series of publications analyzing plastics’ role in various end markets. The press conference will be held in press briefing room (S-226).

William R. Carteaux, SPI president and CEO said that SPI’s efforts to educate the industry on the benefits of plastics sustainability will be central to the organization's booth, which will house other information about SPI’s programs and member benefits.

Jim Pittas, senior vice president of the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PMMI), the organization that produces PACK EXPO said that PACK EXPO Las Vegas strengthens industry connections that support various organizations’ missions and goals, and creates more opportunities for innovation across industry segments.
