Plastindia to hold 2015 edition in Delhi

The 9^th edition of the international plastics exhibition and conference, Plastindia, will still be held in Delhi. Plastindia, one of the world’s biggest exhibitions for the plastics and rubber industry, has been held at Pragati Maidan since 1990, where it has been gathering large participation from both local and international companies.  

Earlier, the show’s organizers planned to move the event to a new exhibition center being constructed in the Gujarat state but some of the exhibition’s partners and local exhibitors as well are concerned over the transfer. The decision came after K 2013 where a delegation of Plastindia Foundation attended. Plastindia has been partnering with Messe Düsseldorf, the organizer of the K fair. 

The Pragati Maidan venue of Plastindia in Delhi housed 1600 exhibitors from 35 countries in 2012. The show recorded over 120,000 business visitors in 2012. 

The venue in Gujarat would have been the Mahatma Mandir fairgrounds in Gandhinagar, but it is still under construction.  Plastindia 2015 is scheduled to take place on 5 - 10 February 2015.
