Plastivision India 2013 set to break past records

India’s second largest plastics show, Plastivision India 2013, is organised by The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and scheduled from 12 to 16 December 2013 with participation from India and more than 45 countries. Mr Raju Desai, chairman – Executive Committee, said the event is right platform for all entities related to this dynamic industry. “Plastivision India has arranged business delegations from South East Asia, the Middle East, African countries as well as Latin America & Eastern Europe for our machinery exhibitors. For plastic processors, we are also inviting buyers from American continent, Europe and other developed countries,” he said. Plastivision India 2013 is the biggest in the series so far with over 1500 companies from India and 30 other countries. The trade fair will be held in area spanning nearly 70,000 sq. m. and expect visits by over 100,000 core businessmen and other key stakeholders.

Taking business to a whole new level, Plastivision India 2013 also includes the industry’s first-ever Vendor Development Programme, where large/institutional buyers of plastics present mid-term demand projections to a select group of suppliers. The trade show features six new pavilions: Green Pavilion – to promote industrial applications of renewable energy in energy intensive manufacturing; India Mold – a focused pavilion of mould making, design and application development; PlastiWorld – a dedicated display for processed plastics finished products; Plastics in Agriculture – an arena to showcase the application of plastics in water conservation and crop optimisation; Automation & Robotics in Plastics – a massive display of innovative & productive automation engineering; Solar Energy Pavilion – an area to demonstrate how solar energy could be utilised economically in plastics processing machinery and its resultant industries.

The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) is a 65-year old body with 25 member associations from across India affiliated to it. AIPMA is dedicated to the development and growth of plastic industry and contribute to India’s growth. AIPMA is based at Mumbai and has Regional Offices at Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
