PMC completes purchase of Arkema (Beijing)

PMC Group NA, Inc. announced that it completed its purchase of Arkema Beijing Chemical Co., Ltd. on January 1, 2014. This completes the final portion of PMC’s previously announced acquisition of Arkema’s worldwide tin stabilizer, organometallic, and organophosphine specialty chemical business. The new name of Arkema Beijing Chemical Co., Ltd. is PMC Beijing Chemicals Co., Ltd.

The acquired business will operate as part of PMC’s PMC Organometallix business unit. After completing this portion of the acquisition, PMC Organometallix now owns, and operates worldwide, the families of Advastab? and Thermolite? tin heat stabilizers, Ca/Zn heat stabilizers, FASCAT? catalysts, and fine chemicals.
