PolyOne opens new facility in Pune

CLEVELAND–PolyOne Corporation held the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art facility in Pune, India. The facility, located in the area’s Ranjangaon industrial zone, manufactures specialty solid masterbatch and liquid colour and additive formulations. The facility also includes development labs and the sales and customer service center for the region.  Products from the facility serve multiple end markets, including transportation, healthcare, wire and cable and packaging.

With the new plant, PolyOne can now offer more solutions and optimise its logistics for improved service, delivery and value to customers, according to Vikas Vij, managing director for PolyOne's operations in India. Robert M. Patterson, president and chief executive officer, PolyOne Corporation also said that India is an attractive region with strong underlying growth potential, and the latest PolyOne investment will deliver exceptional value to more customers.
