Praxair China builds air separation plant in Nanjing

This new air separation plant has a capacity of 1,700 tonnes per day and supplies oxygen, nitrogen and argon to support Meishan Steel's growing demand as well as deliver added value in energy efficiency, product quality and process safety.

The plant's liquid capacity also improves Praxair's ability to reliably supply the region's merchant liquid customers. The plant will nearly double the existing oxygen production capacity serving Meishan Steel. Praxair China has been supplying industrial gases to Meishan Steel for over a decade and has already built a number of air separation plants to supply this customer in Nanjing.
