HEAT and Control Pty Ltd (Australia) has been making regular visits to Viet Nam for the past 15 years, and is a familiar brand at ProPak Vietnam. The company manufactures a wide range of machinery that services the food processing and packaging industry sectors.

Heat and Control started operations in the US in 1950, and since then has become a true multi-national company with manufacturing facilities United States, Australia, Mexico, China, and South Africa. It has an array of equipment used in the food preparation/manufacture process as well as packaging and line control systems - process prepared systems i.e. fryers, ovens, branders, searers, and breading/batter applicators; snack systems, French fry systems, packaging systems, product & material handling systems, inspection systems, and control and information System.

According to Ricky Ong, Heat and Control’s sales manager for the Asian region, the company operates in Viet Nam through an agent that provides technical and sale support to local customers. “It wouldn’t be economical for the company to have offices in all the countries we operate in, and besides, the local agents know the people and culture a lot better than we do. So we make the yearly trip to ProPak Vietnam to support our local agent and keep in contact with our customers.”
