PTC ASIA 2012, CeMAT ASIA 2012 Opens

The World Power Transmission and Control Asia PTC ASIA 2012 and CeMAT ASIA 2012 for material handling and intralogistics are grandly unveiled at Shanghai New International Expo Center this morning. Cai Jin, Vice Chairman of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Wang Changming, Executive Vice President ofChina General Machine Components Industry Association, Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President of Deutsche Messe AG and Lv Zhongxin, General Manager of China Tobacco Commercial Logistics Ltd attend the ceremony and deliver speeches. Officials of Chinese government, foreign general consulates and industrial associations, scholars, journalists and over 300 domestic and foreign guests attend the ceremony. James Fu, General Manager of Hannover Milano Fairs China Ltd. hosts the ceremony.

This year, these two exhibitions rewrite the glory attracting more than 1800 exhibitors with nearly 110,000 square meters of exhibition area. Leading domestic and foreign companies attend the exhibitions with their cutting-edge lineups. The four-day exhibition is expected to receive more than 60,000 trade visitors.

Going through the 20th anniversary of milestone, this year’s PTC ASIA stands at a new starting point and consolidates its position as Asian top 1 and second largest in the world by its superior performance. The exhibition mainly includes five themed exhibitions in machinery industrial chain, including liquid power transmission, machinery transmission and spare parts, compressed gas technology, fasteners and spring, and bearing and its special equipment. Targeted and professional exhibits are presented in these exhibitions. All domestic and foreign top companies such as FESTO, SIEMENS, ABB, NORD, SKF, Daikin, Staubli, NOK, Sealmaker and Kastas attend this year’s PTC ASIA. The wide participation also demonstrates the great influence of PTC ASIA. FESTO from Germany brings its Smart Bird, an independently developed high-end bionic product. The company also holds a press conference at the opening ceremony, attracting the attention of domestic and international media and professional audiences. International exhibitors are still a highlight. As of this year, exhibition groups from Germany, Italy, Turkey, and Taiwan, as well as organizations like National Fluid Power Association (U.S.), American Gear Manufacturers Association, and British Hydromechanics Research Association attend the exhibition.

CeMAT ASIA has become the most influential international exhibition in logistic and transportation fields in the Asia-Pacific region. This year’s exhibition also attracts a large number of leading domestic and foreign enterprises, gathering advanced logistic technologies. Exhibitions are displayed in all kinds of featured pavilions such as forklift, storage, crane, package, and transmission equipment pavilion. The innovative and interactive Forklift Show is a highlight of this year’s exhibition, which is firstly held at outside W1 Hall. Many leading enterprises such as Heli, KION Baoli, Dalian Forklift, Ruyi and Eoslift demonstrate their high-performance products through lifting show and forklift dance show.
