PTS focuses on expanding European market reach at Fakuma 2015

Polymer Technology and Services LLC (PTS) puts its plans to expand support for European markets high on the agenda at Fakuma 2015, from October 13-17, 2015 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

As a global formulator and producer, PTS manufactures high quality UL listed thermoplastics and supplies name brand and generic engineering resins with a particular focus on the telecom, electrical, and electronics (E&E) markets. PTS specializes in providing molders and OEMs with technical expertise, design assistance, tailored material and supply solutions to address particular challenges.

PTS is now expanding its established presence in the USA and China to Europe in order to improve on-the-ground manufacturing, sales and technical services for customers. Key managers from the European team are present at Fakuma to highlight the benefits customers can look forward to, such as faster lead time, and more local technical and liaison support. The team is hosting a hospitality event for customers as part of its at-show activities.

PTS features PC, PA, ABS and PBT among its broad range of engineering polymers targeted at a wide range of applications. This includes UL-recognized products meeting UL94 V-0 and 5VA ratings for telecom and E&E applications. For example, PTS developed a TRISTAR PC resin to meet a stringent specification for outdoor enclosures for telecommunication appliances. The new product offers improved impact, chemical resistance and cycle time for molding at a lower overall cost than the competitive resin system.
