Quadrant, MediTECH join forces at AAOS 2013

Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products, the global leader of machinable plastics, will join forces with MediTECH, the leading supplier of medical grade UHMW-PE to the orthopaedic implant industry, at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting (AAOS) 2013 on March 19-23, 2013.

Quadrant and MediTECH will display their industry-leading array of advanced polymer materials for medicine at AAOS 2013 on March 19-23 in Chicago, IL, the largest annual orthopaedic event in the world. Quadrant will be presenting their industry-acclaimed Life Science Grade (LSG) biocompatible products. Quadrant's LSG products increase security and reduce time to market while increasing production speed and lowering costs.

All LSG products are supplied with certification-confirming USP Class VI and ISO 10993 compliance allowing for expedited medical device clearance. MediTECH will feature Chirulen? and Extrulen? products for medical applications. These products offer rapid healing properties and have become the materials of choice for articulating surfaces, helping restore a higher quality of life to millions of patients worldwide.
