Quick mold systems maker responds to call for smart manufacturing

One of the concepts for Industry 4.0 is to upgrade the role of normal workers into that of  “controlling workers,”  where workers can control automation machines to perform the functions previously done manually to turn the whole system into a "smart factory."

With Sandsun's QMCS, automated production is enhanced through the use of a mold changing system that performs the task within a short period of time. The operator is also able to control the mold changing time and store the information in a database to monitor the process.  

Anothe important product is the Mold Cart System (MCS), a fully automatic mold changing system that is perfect for the current production trend of design flexibility and small-volume production.  It can be integrated in an injection molding machine, die casting machine, and press machine as well. All MCS are customized to meet specific requirements.

The MCS has many safety designs, like mold positioning device, mold move in/out sensor device, mold arrival sensor device, anti-slide holder, auto locating device, among other features. The designs are aimed at making the system more user-friendly.
