Quiznos to open more than 70 franchises in the UAE

Quiznos recently signed a contract with Royal Bun Cafe as its newest franchisee in the United Arab Emirates. Together these companies aim to establish more than 70 restaurants in the UAE over the next eight years. Sandwich lovers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah will be the first to experience a toasted Quiznos sub, with locations expected to be complete by early 2014.

In addition to toasted sandwiches, Quiznos serves up salads, flatbreads, wraps, and soups. Expansion into the UAE is part of Quiznos's international development plan to open more than 1,000 international stores in more than 40 countries by 2020.

Founded in 1981, Denver-based Quiznos has locations in 50 U.S. states and 30 countries.  Royal Bun Café is bases in Abu Dhabi, in the UAE. It focuses in the food and beverage industry, owning and distributing franchises and sub-franchises within the UAE.
