RAMPF Giessharze, a leading developer and manufacturer of polyurethane and epoxy resin systems and silicones, has added a new dissolver plant and two epoxy tanks to its production site in Grafenberg.
“The new dissolver plant allows us to increase our production capacity by a percentage running into double digits, meaning we will have no problem at all meeting rising demand for polyurethane and epoxy resin systems for the next two years,” says Dr. Klaus Schamel, Managing Director of RAMPF Giessharze.
The dissolver plant has a capacity of 5000 cu.m. and weighs around 11.6MT, including the machine head. “The plant has a process control system that allows fully-automatic production, enabling the efficient manufacture of high-quality products,” explains Thomas Erne, Plant Manager at RAMPF Giessharze. The plant was installed by RAMPF Giessharze employees in tandem with Wurster Bau, Grafenberg, Kammerer Elektrotechnik, Metzingen, and FN Friedrich Niemann, Kiel.
Furthermore, two new stainless steel heated epoxy tanks, each with a capacity of 28,000 litres, were installed at the Grafenberg production site.
