RathGibson has teamed with channel partner PT Indoniaga to supply seven tonnes of titanium tubing to the Indonesian oil and gas industry. The requisition was completed over the course of 27 months, from receiving the inquiry to shipping the finished tubing. Indonesian government-owned Pertamina is involved in the exploration, extraction, and production of domestic oil, gas, and geothermal energy, as well as the downstream activities of processing, marketing, trading, and shipping. Pertamina's products, which include fuels, additives, and chemicals, are used to generate revenue for the people of Indonesia. "As a result of many hours of hard work, we finally had the pleasure of shipping titanium tubing to Indonesia," said Wayne Hungerford, Director - Business Development, North and Southeast Asia & Oceania. "The tubing will be used in a Pertamina-owned and operated desalination plant that is undergoing a major refurbishment."
