Raymond Wong: Optimised design for greater efficiency

The International Plastics News for Asia (IRNA) talked to Mr. Raymond Wong, Area Sales Manager of Kreyenborg|BKG based in

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the company’s products and how it has been expanding its presence in the Asian region.

IRNA: How would you describe the company’s operations?

Mr. Wong: Kreyenborg|BKG is a part of Kreyenborg Group which also includes Kreyenborg GmbH, BKG Bruckmann & Kreyenborg Granuliertechnik GmbH, Bruckmann Steuerungstechnik GmbH (BSG), and Kreyenborg Plant Technology GmbH & Co. KG (KPT). Kreyenborg is based in Germany in a town called Muenster. We are mainly making machinery in the extrusion industry and our product range includes equipment such as screen changers, melt pumps, underwater pelletising systems, and the infrared drum IRD system which is our latest drying system. Our offices are in Germany, in the United States, and in Shanghai, China. We also opened an office in Kuala Lumpur in August 2011.

We have a rather broad range of products in our portfolio which cater to the plastics industry. We are able to provide systems for both the polymerisation fields, as well as for the extrusion industries. Therefore, our potential customers come from a broad range. We have something for everybody.

The Kreyenborg screen changers with process, pressure, and volume flow constant method of operation are very unique in the market. They allow for the successful processing of raw materials into high quality products in very sensitive applications.
