On the occasion of this year's Renault - Nissan supplier's meet, held in Chennai, India on June 5, 2013, MAG received the prestigious award as Best Capital Equipment Supplier 2013.

In the presence of the corporate management of both the French and Japanese car makers, Deputy Managing Director Kin Lee handed the exclusive award over to representatives of MAG India and MAG Europe.

Dr. Sebastian Sch?ning, President MAG Automotive, emphasizes MAG's strategy for global excellence: "We are very proud to be honored as a technology leading supplier to Renault - Nissan. We take the price as acknowledgement of our endeavors to excel in global workshop programs. At the same time, this is an important milestone for our teams in India and Germany."

MAG has recently delivered a high volume turnkey system for cylinder block manufacturing to Renault-Nissan's Chennai operations. Based on German technology expertise, this project comprised a high level of localization from India. In an effective work share program, the proven, flexible CNC machines from MAG's XS series were delivered from MAG's Eislingen/Germany location, while processing technology and turnkey content like fixtures, gantries, floor automation, washing machines, leak test machines, assembly machines and gauging had been implemented by the MAG India team in cooperation with local suppliers.
