SmartClick delivery njection device for Restylane Skinboosters meets high ergonomic standards

INTERNATIONAL dermatology company Galderma said the new SmartClick delivery system for it Restylane Skinboosters has won the Red Dot Award for High Design Quality 2014.

Red Dot for Galderma’s Restylane Skinboosters SmartClick delivery systemThe panel for the prestigious Red Dot design award, consisting of 40 international design experts, look for the best achievements in international product design whilst staying true to the motto “In search of excellence”. Commenting on the SmartClick system, which competed against over 1,800 international entrants, the judges stated “The design of this injection device meets high ergonomic standards. The acoustic feedback increases safe use.”

Launched at the AMWC congress in Monaco in April 2014, the SmartClick system is an innovative tool to help physicians to administer Restylane Skinboosters  in an optimal way. As well as amends to the syringe itself, including a more comfortable finger grip and thumb rest and a tamper-proof seal, the system has been introduced to give better control and predictability in the volume of the product delivered at each injection point. This allows physicians to focus on technique as they can see, feel and now hear the volume being injected.

Suitable for a wide range of age groups and skin areas, treatments with Restylane Skinboosters have been shown to improve skin elasticity and hydration, reduce skin surface roughness, and even imperfections such as acne scars2-7. A recently published study recorded high levels of aesthetic improvement and patient satisfaction after Restylane Skinboosters were administered over three sessions to the face, neck and décolletage1.
