Richard Fisher joins PepsiCo Board of Directors

Mr Fisher will serve as independent Board member

RICHARD W. Fisher has recently joined PepsiCo Inc.’s Board of Directors as an independent member.

Before joining the PepsiCo Board on March 23, Mr Fisher served as president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from 2005 to March this year. He was also vice chairman of strategic advisory firm Kissinger McLarty Associates.

From 1997 to 2001, Mr Fisher was deputy U.S. Trade Representative with the rank of Ambassador. In this capacity, he oversaw the implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Bilateral Trade Agreement with Viet Nam, and other trade agreements. He also played a key role in China and Taiwan joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) during his tenure.

He also served as a managing partner for Fisher Capital Management, a Securities and Exchange Commission registered investment advisory firm; a senior manager at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., a private banking firm; and as member of Harvard University's Board of Overseers.
