Romaco strengthens international team

Expands in Asia with new office in China, and names new international sales and service management team

ROMACO Group said it is continuing its expansion into Asia. The Group has reorganized and expanded its international sales and service management activities, the global supplier of processing and packaging equipment also said.

In Asia, Romaco has opened a new office in Shanghai for Romaco China, where Shu Liu has been general manager since August 2013. She will play a decisive role as Romaco continues its growth trajectory in China with its own regional branch. Ms. Liu has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical packaging industry in both Europe and Asia. The company's previous Chinese agent, Shanghai Rikihinbou Industry Co, Ltd., will be incorporated into the local Romaco organization.

The international Romaco management team has simultaneously been strengthened with several new faces.

Carsten Strenger – Appointed CFO and COO of the Romaco Group in May 2013, Mr. Strenger has shared the running of Romaco Pharmatechnik GmbH since April 2014, the operating unit of the Karlsruhe-based Romaco Group, with CEO Paulo Alexandre.

Others in the international management team are Peter Haider, vice president Customer Service, Romaco Group; Charles E. Ravalli, general manager, Romaco North America; Dmitry Voloshin, general manager, Romaco Russia; and Gerd Hueffmann, managing director, Romaco Kilian.

Other new faces are Jamal Mokaddam, business development director Romaco Systems, Romaco Group, and Rolf Izsak, project engineering and R&D coordination, Romaco Group.

“Thanks to our excellent global team we can now convey a much more powerful message to our customers worldwide. By moving closer to them, we can focus even more sharply on their needs in future,” said Mr. Alexandre.

Over 12,000 installations built by Romaco, including primary and secondary packaging, aseptic liquid and powder filling and tablet press technologies, are currently in use in more than 180 different countries. Nike Air Max 90
