Router enhances DICOM interoperability

The lack of interoperability between modalities, PACS, and workstations used by radiologists poses problems in exchanging image and study data, causing an adverse impact on the efficiency of radiology equipment.

In response to this need, IMAGE Information Systems introduced iQ-ROUTER 2.1. iQ-ROUTER is a DICOM image transfer software that incorporates regular expressions for data adaptation. This allows for more complicated operations and accurate data exchange between various modalities and workstations, regardless of vendor.

iQ-ROUTER supports all DICOM formats and transfer syntaxes, and can transmit up to eight times faster through any network. It is also one of the few that support DICOM TLS/SSL protocol, allowing for privacy between two communicating partners.
