SADAFCO Jeddah factory is ISO 22000 certified

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) has received its ISO 22000:2005 food safety management certification from the Intertek – Moody International. This was confirmed by Hernan Farias, SADAFCO’s manager SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality).

The company maintains the highest quality standards in food safety at its Jeddah plant, according to  manufacturing director Raffael Reinders, and the certification is an indication of its commitment and compliance to statutory and regulatory food safety requirements. The company’s Jeddah Ice Cream Plant received the same certification early in 2012.

SADAFCO has recently re-opened a plant in Dammam and expects it to maintain the same high standards in order to acquire ISO accreditation in the future. The company manufactures dairy products and other food items for all age groups.
