Sandvik establishes global deep hole machining centre

Sandvik Coromant opened its first DHM (deep hole machining) Global Application Centre in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. The facility will be used for the R&D of new, DHM techniques for customers in the power generation, aerospace and oil & gas industries. The centre will also serve as an interface for research institutes, machine tool manufacturers and universities to conduct tests and undertake studies on specific components.
