Saudi Agriculture is an ever-important event for the KSA. The Saudi government has since encouraged local companies to invest in other countries, particularly in farming operations, to improve its food security. It has provided incentives to the private sector to invest in overseas farmlands, to help import products back into the KSA. This is a strategy for the country to reduce its water consumption and protect its consumers from price volatility.
