As one of the most favourable investment sites in the Middle East, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has seen its petrochemicals and plastics production growing substantially in the past few years that total investment in the plastics sector alone have reached $50 billion. The industry’s production capacity has risen to more than 100 million tonnes annually.
It is at these premises that Saudi Plastics & Petrochem 2014, the 11th International Plastics & Petrochemicals Trade Exhibition, is looking forward to a successful edition scheduled to take place from 17 to 20 February at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The show has become an important source of information on market trends and production strategies and processes with its range of exhibitors featuring the latest technologies in machinery, equipment, raw materials, semi-finished products, spare parts and services in the plastics and petrochemical fields showcased at the fair.
For more than a decade, the exhibition has established itself as an ideal platform for the promotion of plastic and petrochemical products, machinery and services in the Middle East, and this has been very much apparent in the rising number of exhibitors and visitors. The 2014 edition is expected to remain true to its goals — with more than 20,000 sq.m. of exhibition space that will serve as fitting venue to more than 500 exhibitors. Exhibitors come from over 27 countries and are represented in 10 national pavilions.
Saudi Plastics & Petrochem 2014 is held concurrently with Saudi Print & Pack, the 11th International Trade Exhibition for Printing & Packaging Technologies. The growing consumption for new printing solutions and technologies has resulted in new growth opportunities for suppliers and distributors, who are now increasing their marketing and sales efforts in the country.
The event serves as ideal business- to-business networking platform for key decision makers, industrialists, developers and other professionals. The largest plastics and petrochemical companies in the Kingdom and the Gulf region take part in this event, in addition to a number of governmental industrial commissions from the Gulf States. It is the only industrial fair supported by the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON).
