Saudi Steel to add new pipe production line

Saudi Steel has signed a memorandum of understanding with Italian manufacturer of tube mill systems, OTO Mills, to purchase a new tube mill line with an option to buy two more lines, Saudi Gazette has reported. The €8m deal is financed by the Italian export agency and will see the 8th line add more than 110,000 tonnes of tube capacity to Saudi Steel’s existing capacity.
